Where Does One Find Speciality Coffee?

Specialty coffee does not come from just anywhere. This is the term given to the top 20 per cent in quality of Arabica coffee grown and harvested from select regions worldwide. Sometimes it is used interchangeably with "gourmet" or "premium" coffee. The hallmark of the specialty coffee industry is to identify with great precision the source of coffee imported, roasted and brewed. What distinguishes specialty coffee from other coffee? It is made from exceptional beans grown only in ideal coffee-producing climates. These beans feature distinctive flavors derived from the soils that produced them. Even when blended, the origins are identified and consumers associate meaning and expectations with the names of lands, regions, farms and even plants. Specialty Coffees have stories worth telling that begin where they were born and can become great cultural and geographical lessons. The coffee birthplaces and the quality associated with them have unique value that should be protected.

For example, the use of the word "Java" became so generic for coffee in everyday vocabulary that it no longer represented a unique and distinctly rich coffee from the Indonesian island of Java. Dutch colonists cultivated Arabica coffee in large quantity for export in Java. The result has been the creation of Geographic Indications which identify a product as originating in a specific territory, region or locality. Very specific quality, features, characteristics and reputation become identified with the specific Geographic Indications. For example, Blue Mountain Coffee is identified with Jamaica, and Kona coffee is identified with Hawaii. In addition, many specialty coffee growing countries have associations of growers, companies, and agencies who deal with enhancements for cultivating, exporting, and marketing the best possible coffee. Specialty coffee growers tend to promote rural community development such as infrastructure, medical, and education which helps them ensure working in harmony with the environment.

An example of such community development is the independent coffee grower members of the National Federation of Coffee Growers of Colombia (FNC). Nearly all, if not all, specialty coffee is made from Arabica coffee beans grown at higher altitudes. Are you now ready to enjoy a cup of specialty coffee? Timothy ("Tim") S. Collins, the author, is called by those who know him "Gourmet Coffee Guy." He is an expert in article writing who has done extensive research online and offline in his area of expertise, coffee marketing, as well as in other areas of personal and professional interest.

What can I buy my grandma for Christmas?
She doesn't go out much anymore because she says she emabarrassed to be so skinny (we're working on that with calorie supplements) and she doesn't see well- she can't read at all and doesnt want CD books. She already has all the music she wants (doesnt listen to it anyways) and she doesnt get much enjoyment out of movies since she can't see well. She really mostly watches TV and hangs out with my mom. I'm already buying her and my mom lockets (I have one and I'm going to get the kind you can put 2 pictures in and put pictures of her and mom in mine, mom and me in hers, and me and grandma in mom's) because the 3 of us are super close (even if she cant see the pics, she'll know what they are) and I got her a book she'll like for me to read for her when I'm over (The Lies of Bush, lol) and scented candles she likes. What else? I want to try to make up for the fact her oldest daughter (my aunt) is a selfish stingy b**** and probably wont even see her this year. Also hat should I buy my mom? So far I've got the locket and whatever I can find with the serenity prayer. she's already got enough books and candles to open a store, and still has specialty coffee and chocolate from the last holiday. I already bought her an MP3 player too. She doesnt need clothes- we're both size 1 and share everything. She says I'm not allowed to buy her any more jewlery because a couple years ago I saved up a lot and bought her some really expensive stuff. I even already set up a fish tank for her as a surprise last mothers day and I'm totally out of ideas. arg I'm horrible at gift giving haha oh and I'm already getting my grandma a small live christmas tree like a foot tall with all the decorations since she can't do a normal one anymore

please please read this and help me write it better ?
I made an ad for school for Caribou Coffee. I had to write the body copy as well. My headline is You Deserve a Breather. This is the copy I came up with Take a break with Caribou Coffee?s specialty coffees and drinks. Carribou Coffee provides just the break you need from all the stress you may be facing in your hectic lifestyle. With Caribou Coffee you can take a moment to smell the roses (or the coffee in this case). Go ahead, take a deep breath. You deserve it.
