Home roasting
coffee is my passion. I never realized how great
fresh coffee tasted until I started roasting my own
coffee at home. It is a really fun hobby and I want to share this experience with you. Green (raw)
coffee beans can keep much longer than roasted beans. Until you roast them, let them sit, grind then brew what a cup of coffee.
What a great experience. There are many kinds of roasters from something as simple as a whirly gig popcorn popper to a sophisticated profile programmed roaster. I have a Fresh Roast pus 8 and a BBQ roasting basket. I also have a west bend poppery I that was basically a popcorn popper that you cans still get at thrift shops or on ebay but because they are so old you may find them hard to find. My poppery I put a soup can on top of it so that you can roast more beans and they don't come flying out. I want to share this experience with many people.
This is a grass roots effort to get everybody to enjoy home coffee roasting. If you would rather have someone else roast your beans before you get them, I can get you fresh roasted beans also but the great part about home roasting is it is fun.
You will learn as you go what type of roast you like best. It will be different for different coffee. These beans come from all over the world and you will have different coffees at different times because of this. You can buy coffee accessories as well on my site. So enjoy my site, relax and roast some beans.
