Certain Gourmet Coffee Gift Ideas

Gourmet coffee are definitely not the exact kind nor quality as those coffees that may be bought in any ordinary grocery. The coffee bought off the shelf, canned and pre-ground, 3 in one mixes, instant coffees and decaffeinated instant coffees, all of these should not even worth mentioning. Read this article and learn selected facts: instant and grocery coffee manufactured from coffee which will not be even considered good. Yes, the coffee beans used will not be quality coffee. The companies that make them can sell their instant coffee really cheap for they rely on the supply of low grade coffee sold for an extremely low price on the coffee market.

Gourmet coffee, an outstanding example would be Kona Coffee, are those that are considered at the premium of their grade. These coffees are dearer for a reason: the coffee are organically grown, handpicked, sun dried and processed methodically. Although these gourmet coffees are also sold as decaffeinated coffee, the quality and taste are totally distinctive compared to the grocery shelf ones. However, many gourmet coffee enthusiasts have learned that drinking coffee is absolutely not really the only method to enjoy it. Many fashionable natural health and beauty shops have noticed is that coffee makes for the perfect coffee body lotion. But many who love the product find they cannot continue to use the product because the expensive price it is sold at. Fortunately, these products could be made at home.

Simply buy coffee from your favorite gourmet place. Just brew a cup of coffee and blend thoroughly with oil and wax. You have got to refrigerate this to insure that it is set, but take it out every five or so minutes. You have got to mix it well each time you take it out of the fridge. The mixture should set without any clumps. This should give you a lotion that looks and smells like cappuccino that is amazing for chapped hands. A second great coffee goody which is chocolate covered coffee beans. Buy whole, roasted coffee beans from you favoured coffee shop and drop them in melted chocolate. You need to do this a little at a time avoiding the clumping of the beans. Place the goodies to dry on a sheet of wax paper. When finished with the batch, place them while in fridge till set. Place them in nice sealed containers before giving away. These are fantastic for decorating cakes and pastries. But best of all, grind the chocolate coffee beans and brew as per usual. It makes for a noteworthy cup of chocolate coffee drink.

how to open a coffee shop?
thinking about opening a coffee shop. is there any tips from coffee shop owners out there? i have a few ideas of what i want to do, like new drinks, design, policies, ect. things i'm still not sure on like the brands of coffee to look for, the pros and cons of roasting your own coffee, i love sumatra, and kona, but wasnt sure who roasted the beans. approximately how much is all the equipment necessary to open/ minimal space you need to operate. its going to be in a small town in southern california, where the only real competition would be starbucks. pfft. they claim to sell gourmet coffee. lol. also what brands of espresso machines, blenders, ice makers, ect. fo you trust and that are reliable? all these aspects i am unfamiliar with and would love some of your guys' input thanks 10 POINTS TO THE ANSWERER THAT ANSWERS THIS QUESTION TO THEIR BEST ABILITY. i understand the concept of doing a chart. but unfortunately i dont believe that would work in my area. the chart concept would be more effective in more of a city area. the area i am in needs more of a stable environment. where my coffee is easily found, people can go in and out, or stay and relax for a bit. the chart idea will not generate enough funds to expand in a population of 40,000 people. i will spend more time and effort setting up at random spots and paying someone else so i can sell my products in front of their building. i have been running the chart idea in my head for awhile and i foresee more negative aspects, than positive. appreciate the input though. =)

I've been studying a couple classes at a time on and off since 2003. I changed my mind from becoming a?
counselor, to a A.A in culinary, and eventually a hospitality b.s.. I'd like to own a little French style cafe someday. I'd like to serve gourmet food, and serve gourmet coffee as well. I'd like to carry coffee similar to Starbucks Sumatra brand, but not the exact same. And I'd like some tables and chairs outside for the warm months also. But I will not be selling alcohol. I don't want to make a profit from other peoples suffering. Buddha said to not sale alcohol, I'm not a Buddhist, but I like his pearls of wisdom. I'm not against people drinking, but this is a cafe for sandwiches, and French gourmet food served casually. Am I on the right track? I am not going to make a profit out of other peoples misfortunes. They get drunk and then drive away and run over kids. No way, I am not concerned about a lawsuit, I am concerned with people using a hardcore drug at a cafe that I own and represent. End of discussion on that one. It's a place to drink coffee, different teas, and soft drinks, and gourmet food. First of all I went to a major university and was majoring in psychology because I wanted to be a therapist to help people, and I also just wanted to take certain classes like pottery, and history, and geography and religion because I love learning. But once I got more ill from schitzoaffective disorder, and spent a lot of time bouncing around differnet psychatric units...I decided that counseling is not for someone like me. So I would even be happy doing volunteer work at the local zoo if they would let me. Or preparing gourmet meals at the local soup kitchens so homeless people can eat healthy, and enjoy their food. I believe people and animals matter, not profits. So I guess I would not make a good business owner. But I do agree with much of your answer, and thank you for wishing me luck. Peace man
