They will often travel to the various countries and regions that grow the coffee beans to talk with the growers and even exchange growing ideas. For this person they will say they roast the finest coffee. So it is all a matter of opinion.

Since green coffee beans are actually an agricultural commodity that is traded or sold on the commodity exchange, coffee is a very valuable crop and end product. If the weather in the coffee growers region is bad and they have a poor crop all of the coffee beans sold will go up in price. But there is a vast variety of different beans grown from all parts of the world so there are many choices you have to make your coffee. If you are new to gourmet coffee or specialty roasted coffees you should start by buying small quantities of beans from different regions. This is also true if you only buy one type of bean or bean mix. Expand your horizons and try beans from Indonesia, the Americas, and Africa so you can learn to taste the difference.
