Gourmet Coffee May Help Lower Health Risks
Studies completed in the past regarding the correlations between
coffee and health risks almost always concluded that
coffee may cause adverse health risks. While this has been the generally accepted belief, newer studies are suggesting that these beliefs may be false. Today, many studies are finding that coffee, including
gourmet coffee blends, may not be as hazardous as previously thought. In fact, the belief today is that
gourmet coffee may offer health benefits when consumed in moderation.
A new study done by Harvard Women's Health Watch suggests that regular gourmet coffee drinkers are less likely to develop type 2 diabetes compared to those who do not drink it. The study also suggests an array of other health risks, in addition to type 2 diabetes, can be lowered by moderate consumption of gourmet coffee blends. These risks include developing gallstones, colon cancer, liver damage (especially in those who have liver disease) and Parkinson's disease.
According to an article on WebMD.com regarding coffee and health, the statistics are surprising. At least six recently conducted studies state that people who drink a moderate amount of coffee on a regular basis can decrease their risk of Parkinson's disease by up to 80%. When compared to not drinking coffee, a person who consumes at least two cups per day can reduce their risk of colon cancer by 25% and reduce the risk of gallstones by almost 50%.
It is important to remember what the recommended amount of daily gourmet coffee consumption is. According to many studies, a moderate amount of coffee is considered two to four cups per day. This amount is suggested to be the perfect serving in order to best reap the possible health benefits.
At some online cheaper coffee suppliers, you can order pre-measured packs of gourmet coffee. These packets can help any workplace offer the prefect amount of gourmet coffee in order to help employees gather the possible health benefits. Office managers can order the gourmet coffee packets at a lower cost online and are now able to provide their employees with higher quality coffee that fits into their existing break-room budget. By providing your employees quality gourmet coffee blends, you are showing care and interest in their health.
These new findings are continuing to be tested to learn more about the health benefits that coffee can offer. At work, many people crave the boost of energy from the caffeine found in coffee. These recent studies suggest that this effect may just be an extra benefit due to the new health discoveries. Keeping the break-room stocked with a variety of favorite gourmet coffee blends will keep employees not only happy and productive, but possibly healthy.
Show you care by notifying your employees about the possible health benefits of gourmet coffee. Make sure you stay informed about these studies and continue to offer gourmet coffee blends to your employees. It may be one of the best gestures you can make.

My coffee turns to a thick gelatinous sludge if left out for a day, what does this mean?
Every morning I add a little sugar and milk to a regular old chok full of nuts coffee blend made in a small Mr. Coffee maker. Sometimes I dont finish and it gets left out in the exposed air for a day or several hours. After this time it turns into a sludge that is like a watery jelly. I am concearned this may be a water problem or something in the coffee maker? I have tried different milk, sugar and coffee so its not that. ANy ideas?
What is your basis, if your joking around that is not even funny and I will report you for abuse. I have no reason to have aids. I was married and have not had sex since. so what is your point in trying to scare someone on a saturday morning?
my last detail was at the Cloud Guy.
I add 1% milk and a tablespoon of sugar in the cup not in the maker. It's such a weird texture that it is a complete mystery as this never happened where I lived before. I wonder if its the water here or the air as I have a weird mystery smell in my apt too.
