Have commerical corporations ruined coffee?
I used to be one of those people that would be 10 creams and 10 sugar packets in my coffee. I refused to touch it unless it was loaded with all the sweeteners. However one day I was extremely tired and out of cream and sugars so I said what the hell, I'll try it black. Well it was the most delicious things I'd ever tasted. I actually tasted the coffee bean. From then on I never added cream or sugars to my coffee, and have had the pleasure of tasting different coffee beans and loving all my coffee black. However the only people I can ever relate with are older people. People that are twice or three times my age. I'm in my mid 20's and have yet to meet anyone near my age that enjoys the actual taste of the coffee bean. Is this a lost "art"? Why do you think people add all the sweeteners automatically now a days? Are huge coffee corporations to blame or are we just a society with a sweet tooth?
