Where can I get cheap coffee in the Philippines?
I don't mean instant coffee, like Nescafe (I don't use any Nestle products, anyway). I mean coffee house coffee. I love the taste of coffee house coffee, but I'm unwilling to shell out almost 200 bucks just for a small cappuccino and the privilege of sitting amidst a cloud of cigarette smoke and yuppie conversation. Cordillera Coffee is awesome, but they don't have many branches. Can you give me the names and general locations of inexpensive coffee houses in the metro manila area? Thank you so much.
i used to have a coffee machine but typhoon ondoy carried it away and i never got round to buying a new one.
@lonesome: i don't buy nestle products for ethical reasons. i use kopiko. it's pretty good and doesn't have that weird coppery taste you get from blood-tainted nescafe coffee.
I know advocafe sells cheap brewed coffee starting at 25 php and the nice coffee shop atmosphere is free, but it's too far.
i actually know of a few coffee shops that sell coffee for much less than 70. i was just wondering if there were others.
thanks to those who suggested french baker and dunkin donuts. i love DD coffee but i wanted to try something new, and french baker's coffee is yummy but i heard that they get their beans from the same place starbucks does. thanks to the person who suggested bibingkinitan! :D i forgot they sold coffee. im eating their bibingka right now.
